Mabul Island & Kapalai
Mabul & Kapalai Day Tour Spend a day exploring Mabul and Kapalai from Semporna, combining swimming, sightseeing, and snorkeling or diving. Take in Mabul's resort coastline and water village, spot local reef fish and coral, and discover an underwater world unlike anywhere else — all rounded off with a homemade lunch box included in the trip. The tour begins at Semporna jetty with a quick registration, followed by a smooth one-hour boat transfer to Mabul Island. Known among locals as a hidden water-village paradise, Mabul gives you free time to soak up the sun, take in panoramic views, enjoy your lunch, and explore the water village at your own pace. Next, your guide runs through a safety briefing before you gear up and head into the water. With an instructor on hand throughout, snorkel or dive among vibrant reefs and a striking variety of marine life. From there, it's on to Kapalai — about 15 minutes by speedboat from the famous Sipadan Island. Its waters take on a distinctive blue hue from the way light refracts through them, and you may spot turtles, butterflyfish, and a colorful variety of reef life. Time in the water and the return journey may vary depending on sea conditions and weather. Once Kapalai concludes the day, we return to the jetty.
